Where should the car be delivered?
Tell us the destination and we tailor the whole chain — inspection, purchase, paperwork and transport route. Detailed guides for the first destinations below; every other EU country works too, just ask.
Why buy from Germany at all?
Germany is Europe's largest used-car market: over 1.5 million listings on mobile.de alone, the widest selection of premium models and EVs, documented service histories, and price levels that most of Europe can't match. The problem was never the selection — it's doing the deal safely from another country. That's the part we industrialised.
Three layers of protection
How a cross-border purchase works
What about registration and taxes in my country?
Every EU country registers imported cars differently — Sweden's Transportstyrelsen, Denmark's Motorstyrelsen, the Dutch RDW all have their own processes and taxes. Our destination guides cover the essentials, and we deliver the car with the full document package you'll need (purchase contract, registration certificate, CoC where available). Within the EU, a used car purchase doesn't trigger new VAT — you mainly deal with your country's registration process and possible registration tax.
Frequently asked questions
I already found a car — can you just inspect it?
Yes. The on-site inspection (€349) works as a standalone service anywhere in the EU. Most customers add the €49 history check — together they catch both physical and paper problems.
How do I know you're legitimate?
We're Abco Oy, a Finnish company behind auto-saksasta.fi — Finland's leading car import service with 10,000+ cars handled, a 4.6★ customer rating, registered as a car tax filer with the Finnish Tax Administration and approved as an insurance intermediary by the Finnish FSA. You can verify all of this independently.
Which countries do you deliver to?
Anywhere in the EU. Fixed routes run weekly from Germany and the Benelux; other destinations are quoted per route, typically €890–1,480 within Northern and Central Europe.
What does the whole service cost?
Inspection €349, history check €49, brokerage fee €499 if you buy the car through us, plus transport by route and optional covers (from 0.68% transport / 1.5% purchase). You only pay for the layers you want.
What if the inspection finds problems?
You get the full report and decide: negotiate the price down (we do it for you), or walk away and we inspect the next candidate at a reduced price. No car is worth buying blind.
